We built Clottr because I was annoyed every time I opened my wardrobe or had to buy clothes. Even though these two problems seem unrelated they have more in common than you might think. Both are caused by lack of information. How can you know if you should buy something if you can't see all your owned items? What about buying without trying on? Get 5 things then return those that don't work? Annoying, difficult and frankly not something that should be a problem in 2026.

It turns out this isn't a personal annoyance and is happening to everyone. Online shopping gives you zero context. You can't see how a piece fits your body, your style, or the clothes you already own. You're making decisions blind, and the result is closets full of regret and countless items thrown away, eating out our Earth.

Clottr aims to fix this. Having background technology and sustainability my focus since day 1 has been to tackle it by giving you as much information as you need to make an informed purchase. From checking if the new green top fits in your existing style and you even have anything to wear it with, to letting you see yourself with it before buying to finally checking if the price is even right.

The goal is simple: give you all the information you were missing to help you buy less, save time getting dressed in the morning and feel happier wearing what you already own.

Stop guessing. Start wearing.
